Aftercare Program Assistant

Schedule: Approx. 10-15 hours per week, Monday-Friday 2:30-5:30 p.m., following the Evansville Day School Academic Calendar
Pay: $15-20/hour
Evansville Day School, in partnership with parents, offers a student-centered, college preparatory program supported by a challenging and comprehensive curriculum that encourages each student from Junior Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12 to strive for excellence in mind, body, and human spirit.
Our Aftercare Program supports Day School families by providing extended care for Primary School students (Grades JPK-5) until 5:30 p.m. daily.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Providing a safe, welcoming and engaging environment for early childhood and elementary children.
• Supervising children during afterschool hours.
• Supporting age-appropriate games, activities, and play.
• Maintaining a positive and respectful atmosphere.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Experience with children preferred.
• Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and ability to work in a team setting.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and welcoming community.
