As the only independent, student-centered school in Southern Indiana, Evansville Day School offers a thoughtfully designed academic journey from Junior Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12. Learning at EDS extends far beyond the classroom. Students engage in hands-on projects, outdoor exploration, creative expression, and real-world problem solving—developing not just content knowledge, but critical thinking, curiosity, and independence.
Our curriculum evolves with each stage of learning. Primary School students build strong academic foundations through inquiry and exploration. Middle School students are encouraged to ask bold questions, collaborate across disciplines, and step into leadership. In Upper School, students experience academic rigor and real-world application through AP courses, internships, service initiatives, and the signature Senior Project.
