The science department requires that all Upper School students participate in a core curriculum that includes Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. AP classes are offered in biology and chemistry. Elective courses are also offered. Using each topical class to provide context, the science department teaches problem solving and critical thinking, and applies the scientific method.
Elective courses within the science courses are chosen based upon student interest and faculty expertise. These may include, but are not limited to, Botany, Environmental Science and Anatomy and Physiology.
