Mathematics is the toolbox for understanding and succeeding in an array of disciplines and careers. The goal for the Upper School math program is to solidify a student’s arithmetic skills and give them the strong basis in algebra, geometry, and trigonometry essential to success both in college and in their future professions.
The courses offered in the Upper School are Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, and AP Calculus. AP Calculus both AB and BC are offered for advanced math students. Discrete Mathematics is offered as a senior-year math class and is topic-specific to meet the needs of the students.
Step into any Upper School math classroom and see how the students and teachers combine to create an environment that nurtures learning through discussion, collaboration, and modeling.
