The Middle School Student Council leads through service at EDS by organizing parties, dances and end-of-year activities funded by an annual magazine sale. Officers participate in a leadership retreat at the beginning of the year, then use the skills they have acquired to guide their peers in the Council’s in-service and social activities. The Council uses funds from the magazine sale to purchase items that enhance life in our middle school. Past purchases include printers, batteries for computers, a trophy case, a swing set and a tetherball court. Organizations that have received donations from the Middle School Student Council include the Red Cross, Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, Mesker Park Zoo and Botanical Garden, Easter Seals and the Food Bank.
