Evansville Day School’s media center is an integral part of the school’s academic program, offering materials that enrich and enhance classroom instruction. The library is designed to meet the needs of our youngest primary students to the seniors and faculty. There are advanced material for the older students, professional development information for teachers and staff and a section specifically for the Primary and Pre-school side, where younger students sit on a “magic carpet” that helps their classes take flight. Each age-appropriate collection supplements the curriculum of that division.
With its age-appropriate collections and convenient, central location, the library provides a warm environment that invites students throughout the school to explore and parse their world through study, topical research, and reading for pleasure. Computers and online resources complement our book-filled shelves and welcome student learning.
