School History/Profile History
Founded in 1946, Evansville Day School is the only regional independent, coeducational college-preparatory day school for grades Jr. Prekindergarten-12. The school's 325 students primarily reside in Vanderburgh and Warrick counties. Students from Henderson, Kentucky and other outlying areas also attend the school. Families attending Evansville Day School represent a diverse population.

Evansville Day School, in partnership with parents, offers a rigorous college-preparatory program, which encourages each student to strive for excellence in mind, body, and human spirit.
Accreditation
Evansville Day School is accredited by the Indiana Department of Education, the Independent Schools Association of the Central States (ISACS), the North Central Association (NCA), and is a member of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS).
