Jennifer Stevens, who has been at EDS for 14 years, will be changing roles to serve as third teacher. Jennifer, a dedicated and respected
member of our faculty, has taught at a variety of grade levels. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Western Kentucky
University as well as a valid Indiana State teaching license.

Ms. Diana Schnakenburg will be joining the faculty of Evansville Day School on a full time basis. Ms. Schnakenburg will be transitioning from Pre-K to the Primary
School computer teacher position to replace Ms. Jennifer Stevens who will be our third grade teacher. Ms. Schnakenburg holds an elementary education degree
from the University of Evansville and has been employed at EDS in the preschool classroom.

Ms. Megan Polz has accepted the position of fourth teacher, following Elizabeth Berry.  Megan, an alumna of Evansville Day School and graduate of Franklin College, holds a
Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with a mathematics minor as well as an Indiana State teaching license. While at Franklin, Ms. Polz was the
recipient of the Laurels Trophy, the prestigious recognition of a female student who exemplifies the qualities of leadership, scholarship and
contributions to campus life.  Most recently, she was recognized with the Outstanding Future Educator Award.

Courtney Poole will be joining the faculty as Primary School Spanish teacher, following Senorita Pilar. Mrs. Poole holds a Bachelor of Arts
degree in Spanish Education from the University of Southern Indiana and an Indiana State teaching license. Additionally, she has studied abroad in Uruguay
and Chile. Senorita Pilar will conclude her teaching responsibilities with EDS at the conclusion of the 2011-2012 school year to pursue personal interests at
the college level.

Karen Meacham will be transitioning to full time teaching responsibilities in our Pre-K class due to increased enrollment. She currently
serves as lead teacher in our half day Pre-K class, after having taught preschool in the Evansville area for the past several years. She will be team teaching
with Carla Englebright in our soon to be newly enlarged Pre-K classroom. Karen holds a Bachelor of Arts from Wake Forest University and a Masters of Education in
Early Childhood Education from the University of Illinois.

Please join us in welcoming these faculty members to their new responsibilities.
