Evansville Day School (EDS) is a Junior Pre-Kindergarten through Grade Twelve coeducational college preparatory school enrolling students from diverse racial, ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds. The school provides a traditional curriculum stressing personal growth, academic excellence, and character education within a small classroom setting. The educational experience is enhanced by a wide range of learning and co-curricular activities including off-campus intersession projects and a variety of athletic teams and clubs. Small classes, high standards, and a caring faculty provide a safe and positive learning atmosphere. The block schedule for Grades Eight through Twelve includes numerous Advanced Placement courses. The only independent school in the region, Evansville Day School serves students from Vanderburgh and surrounding counties as well as Kentucky and Illinois. Scholarships and financial aid are available.
Evansville Day School is accredited by the Independent Schools Association of the Central States (ISACS), and the Indiana Department of Education (grades 9-12), and is a member of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS).
